This beautiful house in Arenys de Mar has just been renovated, and has a swimming pool, private gardens and stunning sea views!
DON'T IMAGINE A SUNRISE, COME AND ENJOY IT!
The location is ideal for enjoying the different areas of the garden typical of the Mediterranean coast. Situated on a small hill, facing the sea, in a very quiet and not very busy residential area.
We consider that it is essential to come with your car, but it is not a problem because you will be able to park inside the property.

THE HOUSE PANORAMIC ARENYS
Comfortable and bright, with a renovation that enhances the space even more.
Entering from the front door we find the entrance hall, two bedrooms and we open the way to the spacious dining room with fireplace.
There are large glass doors that give access to a large terrace. This room connects us to the living room with sea views.
Open kitchen, very practical and well equipped with a large fridge freezer and new appliances.
And a small laundry area with direct access to the outside.
2 double bedrooms with two single beds.
1 double room with a double bed and a private complete bathroom with shower.
All rooms have storage space and a window overlooking the property or the sea.
Another complete bathroom with a shower is available and several outdoor spaces to organize a meal, enjoy a board game, or a moment of reading.
Irregular round private pool of 23 square meters, outside toilet, garden areas, hammocks, and a splendid viewpoint where you can spend a thousand hours.

The access gate from the street is private and manually operated.
Ample parking space for several vehicles.

It is large and has plenty of space to play, run around and enjoy sunny days.
There is furniture designed for outdoor dining.
The whole garden should be preserved, respecting the green spaces.
BBQ
This is within the property for the exclusive use of guests.
Must be cleaned after each use, ash removed and grill degreased.
PRIVATE POOL
An irregular round pool of 23 m²
There are hammocks for sunbathing.
The rest hours of the neighbours, the bathroom clothing, and the use of the pool must be respected.
VIEWPOINT
Guests can organise meals there.
Furniture, crockery, cutlery and table linen are available.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Just a 2-minute drive away you will find a shopping area with 3 supermarkets, a renowned fast-food restaurant and a cinema with 8 rooms.
One of the largest fishing ports in Catalonia is a 5-minute drive away. Overall, we recommend it to all our guests to enjoy some good fresh seafood!
Also, you can go to any bar on the beach (our famous XIRI, as we say colloquially) to try a real paella or have something accompanied by some tapas.
We will recommend some of the good restaurants in the area and we also will tell you where you can rent jet skis or paddleboards.
We are very lucky with our location, close to Barcelona, but with all the advantages of being in a coastal town, enjoying the sea, the quiet atmosphere of the Mediterranean villages and all our variety of gastronomic offers.
USEFUL INFORMATION
- 50 minutes by car or train to the centre of Barcelona.
- 15 minutes walk to the beach of Caldes d'Estrac.
- 20 minutes drive to the entrance of the Montnegre and el Corredor Natural Park.
- 34 minutes drive from the Montseny Natural Park with its highest peak of 1,700 m. and many tracking possibilities!
- April 23 St. George's Day, our Valentine's Day, SANT JORDI: an experience you will not want to miss!
- June 23. 'Harvest of St. John', SANT JOAN: a festival that brings families and friends together around the bonfires to celebrate the shortest night of the year! Throwing firecrackers, dancing, singing, and some, waiting to see the dawn!
HOW TO MOVE AROUND THE AREA
PRIVATE TRANSPORT
We advise on how to combine the use of private transport with the use of public transport.
You can move around on foot, by taxi or taking the train, using the bus or your own vehicle or you can move in combination.
It is always more convenient to have a vehicle to be able to explore more places or go shopping at the supermarket.

Some different services and lines connect Arenys de Mar with the surroundings and Barcelona
- TAXIS: There is a regular taxi service.
Services must be booked in advance.
- BUS: Day and night services.
Connection with the train station, other towns in the Maresme and the city of Barcelona.
- TRAIN: The nearest train station is ARENYS DE MAR.
The route to Plaça Catalunya lasts between 50 and 55 minutes.
The city is about 30-40 minutes by car.

Tourist tax on stays at tourist establishments in Catalonia. Law 5/12 APPROVED on March 20, 2012
(1 euros per person per night, with a maximum of 7 nights and only for guests aged 16 or older).
- Deposit: it will be made on arrival through a credit card pre-authorization.
- Signature of the house rules.

HOUSE RULES
- It is not rented to groups under 25 years.
- The Rental Agreement of the property for Tourist Season will be accepted when booking and will be signed prior to the delivery of the keys.
- Acceptance of the deposit. This will be done upon arrival by pre-authorization with a credit card.
- All the people on the reservation must identify themselves by showing their identity documents. They will be asked before and during the welcome.
- During their stay, minors must always be supervised by an adult, they are the sole responsibility of their parents/guardians.
- Garbage must also be removed from the accommodation periodically to avoid odors and dirt.
- Among all, we have to respect and preserve the resources we have, please, avoid waste and negligent use of resources.
The waste, abusive consumption, or negligent use of electricity, water, and gas. It is not included and can be deducted from the deposit.
IT'S NOT ALLOWED
- Host or invite more people than those registered in the reservation form.
- Perform noisy activities (music, loud conversations...) from 9:00 p.m. and before 09:00 a.m. It is very important to respect the rest of our neighbors.
- Organize events, parties, and bachelor parties, as well as any inappropriate behavior.
- Use bath towels for the beach or pool. The return of these in poor condition will incur an additional cost.
- Guests are not allowed to smoke inside the house; if they wish, they can smoke in the exterior spaces of the property. In this case, use ashtrays and respect the garden areas, terraces, and/or balconies.
- Groups of students are not allowed.
- No pets allowed.
- It is not allowed to charge electric cars using the house power

Wir waren zu sechst und hatten tolle 5 Tage. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Aussicht auf das Meer ist wunderschön, auch wenn es mal regnet. Am schönsten war auch der Strand, der in 10 min zu Fuß zu erreichen ist und man hat dann eine kleine Bucht fast für sich alleine. Mit dem Zug kann man problemlos nach Barcelona rein fahren. Sonia hat uns diesbezüglich gute Tipps gegeben. Die steile Straßen Auffahrt zum Haus haben wir auch gut gemeistert mit unserem Mietauto, da wir aus dem totalen Flachland sind für uns immer etwas besonderes 😊 Das Haus ist nicht sehr groß, aber völlig ausreichend und sehr hell, praktisch und dennoch dekorativ eingerichtet. Den vorbeifahrenden Zug bemerkt man, nachts fährt er nicht, aber uns hat es gar nicht gestört. Der Garten ist sehr groß und lädt zum Verweilen ein mit einem eher kleinen Pool. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen und behalten sie in sehr guter Erinnerung.

Das Haus ist wunderschön: ein altes gemauertes Haus, aber modern renoviert, v.a. Küche und Badezimmer. Der direkte Ausblick Richtung türkisem Meer ist atemberaubend, fast noch schöner als auf den Fotos! Der Garten ist extrem gepflegt, völlig uneinsichtig und sehr großräumig auf mehreren Etagen mit unterschiedlichen Sitz-und Longebereichen (Gartenmöbel sind nicht die neuesten, aber erfüllen ihren Zweck!).

What a beautiful view, every single time you look outside you get happy. If you are looking for a complete peaceful house this is not for you, however we enjoyed it fully and definitely coming back. The trains was a background noise for us. Sonia and Helena are the perfect hosts.

We had a fantastic few days staying at the villa. The views are spectacular overlooking the sea and it is very tranquil staying here. The garden has so many areas so you can get sun or shade throughout the day. The villa is clean, tidy and has all the amenities you would need.

Das Haus ist super schön, die Aussicht unschlagbar. Den oftgenannten Verkehr/Bahn hört man zwar, stört aber überhaupt nicht. Das Haus liegt recht hoch, wir haben daher immer das Auto benötigt (wir sind aber auch faul, Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind auch zu Fuß gut erreichbar).

Tolles AirBnb mit unvergleichbarem Ausblick und Weitblick auf das Meer. 45 min von Barcelona mit dem Auto, Supermärkte und schöne Bucht theoretisch Fußläufig erreichbar (aber steiler Rückweg bergauf). Das AirBnb liegt auf einem Berg und hat zahlreiche Sitzgelegenheiten draußen, alle mit einem tollen Blick aufs Meer. Die Bucht unterhalb des Airbnbs hat klares Wasser, ist sehr ruhig, man muss einmal an den Bahnschienen entlang laufen, um dort hin zu kommen (Achtung FKK). Die Wohnung war toll, ganz frisch renoviert mit schönen Bädern und Küche. Auch trotz Sonne angenehm kühl. Wie in den Beschreibungen zu lesen, gab es leider viele Mücken, tags und nachts, man sollte sich entsprechend vorbereiten. Hatten am Ende einen Mietwagen und waren sehr glücklich damit, obwohl auch der Zug entlang der Costa Brava (R1) fußläufig erreichbar gewesen wäre. Die Kommunikation mit Helena und Sonia war prima, sehr unkompliziert. Gerne wieder! Muchas Gracias

Ein super tolles Anwesen mit fantastischem Meerblick. Das Haus wurde kurz zuvor neu renoviert und wir waren die ersten Gäste. Alles was man braucht, ist in unmittelbarer Nähe zu finden. Die Geräusche des Zuges waren absolut nicht störend, auch nachts konnte man gut schlafen. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und werden bestimmt wieder kommen 🙂

Le séjour s’est très bien passé. Helena et Sonia sont formidable et à votre écoute pendant tout le séjour. Elles n’hésiteront pas à vous donner des bons plans pour manger ou sortir. La maison est magnifique et la vue à couper le souffle. Le train passe sous la maison mais cela ne nous a pas gêné. Il y a de très belle criques à proximité. Allez y les yeux fermés.

Mixed experience – amazing views and heat, mosquitos and trains… We are a family of five persons who spent 6 nights in this house, and we are a bit ambivalent when it comes to this review. First, the positive: There is no doubt that the location of this house is quite amazing, as there are magnificent views from the terrasses, the balcony, and the living room in the house. The pool is nice although pretty small. The beach, which is 5 minute’s walk from the house (crossing the train tracks and the high way) was gorgeous. The location allows for day tours to Barcelona, only a 40 minute’s drive away. However, we have to mention that there also were some nuisances: - We had trouble sleeping due to the heat as there were no air-conditioning or fans/ventilators and the windows could not be opened because of the heaps of mosquitos. We ended up buying our own fans to be able to get some sleep. - The train goes through the mountain under the house and makes a lot of noise which also made sleeping difficult as the train only rested between midnight and 5 am. - There were way more mosquitos than we would have expected this close to the ocean. Minor details to consider: - The house was definitely charming but very old and worn-out, in particular the kitchen. - The washing machine was out of function. - The sink was clogged. - The dish washer could only partly be opened because of the proximity to the refrigerator. - The cooker hood was out of function. - The towels were not allowed to be used by the pool or beach, which meant we also had to buy our own towels. - There was no pick-up of trash from the municipalities so we had to drive it to the recycling station ourselves.

The location and property were very nice and check in was seemless. Swimming pool and cliff garden are the standout features and stunning. We are not ones to complain but feel like this needs to be pointed out for future guests: - The kitchen (surfaces, cutlery etc) and bathroom areas were not clean on arrival and the sink was blocked (however this was dealt with within 24 hours) - Quite a lot of flies and mosquitos in the house so be prepared - There is a train tunnel under the house and it does vibrate a lot multiple times a day (not an issue for us but may be for others) Overall we enjoyed our stay and with good weather you will spend most of it outside anyway!

A brilliant place with beautiful views, gardens and pool. A lovely spot for some scenic dinners and breakfasts in the sun! Great flexibility with check in and check out which was most appreciated. Very convenient location close to some local shops, beach and railway. The train was quite loud as it goes under the apartment so something to consider.

We hebben genoten van onze week. Het is een fijn, schoon! en ruim huis met een grote tuin met meerdere terrassen en een fantastisch uitzicht op zee. Het dichtstbijzijnde strand is nog geen 10 minuten lopen en leuke restaurants ongeveer 20 minuten. Echt een aanrader dus!

La casa es fantástica, acorde a lo mostrado en las fotografías. El espacio exterior es muy amplio y con diferentes espacios: piscina, tumbonas, zona de barbacoa, varias mesas... La casa cuenta con todo lo necesario para las seis personas que estuvimos. El único pequeño inconveniente, que las puertas de las habitaciones no cierran del todo bien y que a veces la caldera tarda en funcionar cuando te estás duchando. La ubicación es extraordinaria, contando con varios supermercados a 5 minutos de la casa. La estación de cercanías está a 15 minutos de la casa y permite comunicarse con localidades adyacentes de forma rápida y cómoda. A pies de la casa hay varias calas pequeñas. En general, ha sido una estancia estupenda, totalmente recomendable para pasar varios días

View moreSonia, Paula und Helena waren stets erreichbar und haben uns überall unterstützt. Das Haus ist nicht sehr groß, dennoch ausreichen für 5-6 Personen. Wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind, möchten wir diese Unterkunft unbedingt wieder bewohnen.
Alles Gute
Der Pool ist nicht sehr tief (ca. 1m), aber sehr gemütlich, erfrischend und lädt nach einem Strand- oder Besichtigungstag zum Verweilen und Entspannen ein! Es gibt auch eine Gartendusche und -toilette. Sehr praktisch! Ein Auto ist nötig, um zu den nächsten Stränden oder Besichtigungen zu kommen. Um zu der entzückenden Bucht direkt unter dem Haus zu kommen, muss man (halb-illegal) Schienen überqueren. Was uns gestört hat: direkt am Fuße des Hauses ist ein Einkaufs- und Verkehrspunkt: dadurch kommt es auch in der Nacht zu Lärm, v.a. durch aufheulende Motorräder oder den hupenden Zug.
Sonia and Helena were very communicative and were always willing to help where they could! They let us check in early when our plans got us there sooner than expected, and had very clear instructions for checking out. Thanks for a great stay!

Seul point négatif : la climatisation que nous trouvons nécessaire car la nuit on ne peut pas aérer à cause des moustiques et quand on ferme il fait chaud dedans . Les ventilos brassent de l’air chaud donc les propriétaires devraient investir dans la climatisation. Une seule suffirait en salle de vie et devrait rafraîchir les chambres.

We enjoyed our week. It's a nice, clean place! and spacious house with a large garden with several terraces and fantastic sea views. The nearest beach is less than 10 minutes walk and nice restaurants are about 20 minutes. So really recommended!

There are a few things to be aware of, but really from a good-to-know position:
- there is no air conditioning and there are quite a lot of mosquitos so you can't always (or often) keep the doors and windows open
- the kitchen has a lot of pots and pans but, lacks glasses (not enough drinking glasses or any wine glasses)
- if staying more than a few days, you'll need to get toilet paper, garbage bags, washing up liquid, etc
- the white towels are beautiful but very impractical if you've been to the beach. You need to clean up water on the floor or for coming out of the pool. Bring your own towels.
- there isn't anywhere set up to hang up many items outside to dry, just one drying rack which doesn't ensure the clothes get much air
- it would be good if there was a clothesline option somewhere
- Lidl is just a shor5, a 4-minute walk down the hill, as is Mercadona. While they are distracting to look at (to your left when on the patio) they are super convenient if you don't have a car
- the beaches are easy to access via the underground walkway, and while small they are beautiful, clean and clothes are optional
Overall, we absolutely loved our time in Areyns de Mar and would definitely recommend it.
- The garden is big and well equipped with several tables, a lounge, enough deck chairs, and a bbq-grill.
- The kitchen is rather small but holds everything you need with a big fridge.
- Easy and quick access to Barcelona by public transport (15min walk to the train station and beautiful 50min ride by train along the coastline into the city centre).
- Straight-forward and flexible check-in/-out formalities, communication and support was perfect.
