Do not miss this magnificent two-story house with 5 double bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a large outdoor space, a porch in the garden, a built-in barbecue and a private pool!

   THE HOUSE DESMAIS AND ITS SPACE   
 
   FIRST FLOOR   
ENTRANCE HALL: from the street, we access the main floor. Upon entering, we already see the beautiful views from the living room windows. In the hall, we find an ideal space to prepare to go out, wait for those who are always late or take off our shoes as soon as we arrive and feel at home.
 
KITCHEN: It is located to the left of the hall. Fully equipped with new appliances and everything you may need for a more comfortable stay. In the centre, there is a large island with stools where you can prepare delicious breakfasts or the food that we will take on an excursion or to the beach.
It has sliding doors and an extractor to prevent kitchen odours from coming out if you wish.
 
DINING ROOM: An open area that is in front of us as soon as we enter through the door and cross the hall. The sofa area is at the left, with a fireplace in the corner. To our right is the dining table, all new furniture, designed for each corner, even so, it does not steal the spotlight from the light that enters through the windows, the sight that surrounds us and its large terrace.
 
TERRACE: It has an outdoor dining table and comfortable armchairs from where we can see the sunrises and sunsets and also, the large garden can be controlled.
 
Following the hall, before entering the living room, we find the stairs at your right, that leads to the ground floor, and after the corridor to the bedrooms. Before reaching the door that closes the landing of the rooms there is a toilet.

We access the stairs to the lower floor, even if it does not appear in the images, the railing has a design that allows us to hold on when going down.
Once down we find access from the inside to the huge and pleasant porch from which we will not want to leave.
On this same floor are the other 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom.

PORCH: located at the garden level, it has a wonderful area furnished with comfortable outdoor armchairs to enjoy the view of the sea while a gentle sea breeze circulates with a sweet fig tree aroma that we will always remember. It also has an outdoor dining table in case you decide to organize a barbecue and table tennis in case you dare to mount a competition during your stay.
 
BUILT-IN BARBECUE: Leaving the porch on the left, following one of the paths in the garden, we find an area with a built-in barbecue ideal for a family gathering or even trying to make paella on the fire, would you dare?
 
GARDEN: a large space to play, or lie down in the sun, or else there is also a fantastic "hammock" hanging between two trees to take a peaceful nap in the shade.
 
PRIVATE POOL: if we continue walking through the garden to the other side, we will find the pool area with a shower, sun loungers and a pleasant porch with armchairs to control the children while they bathe and from where we can continue to be protected by the beautiful view.
 
This pleasant house (ready to 4 winds) is located on a plot located in a quiet urbanization a few minutes from the centre of the town of Cabrils.
Although it is very close to the town, it is highly recommended to go by car, since the urbanization is at the top of Cabrils.

DESMAIS house is exclusive to its guests.

   THE GARDEN AND THE TERRACE   
Garden spaces are not shared but must be respected.
The outdoor dining area, barbecue and chill-out area with sofas are private.
The barbecue should be cleaned after each use.

   THE PRIVATE POOL   
There are sunbeds for sunbathing and an exterior shower.
The rest hours of the neighbours, the bathroom clothing and the use of the pool must be respected.

   ALARM   
The house has an alarm system, however, the house should always be left tightly closed.
- Two devices are available to disconnect the security system. It is not necessary to memorize a code.
- Motion detectors on the access doors to protect the different points of entry into the house.
- Capturing images to identify intruders. The in-house cameras only activate and record photos when the alarm goes off. If the host deactivates the alarm these are automatically removed from the system.

   PARKING   
You can enter the property by car, but you must respect the garden areas and watch out for the automatic lawn watering.
You can also park for free and easily on the street.
The street is shared with residents. The direction of traffic on the streets must be respected and not parked in front of accesses to private car parks.

   HOUSE RULES   
- It is not available to groups under 25 years old.
 
- The rental contract for the property for the tourist season will be accepted upon reservation and signed before the closing ceremony.
 
- Acceptance of the deposit. This will be done upon arrival by pre-authorisation with a credit card.
 
- All persons making the reservation must identify themselves by showing their identity card. They will be requested before and during the welcome.
 
- During your stay, minors must always be supervised by an adult; they are the sole responsibility of their parents/guardians.
 
- It is also necessary to remove the garbage periodically to avoid odours and brutality. There are containers in the street, very close to the house.
 
- Between all of us we have to respect and preserve the resources we have, if you please, avoid waste and negligent use of resources.
Waste, abusive consumption, or negligent use of electricity, water, and gas is not included and can be deducted from the deposit.
 
  IT'S NOT ALLOWED   
- Host or invite more people than those registered on the reservation form.
 
- Perform noisy activities (music, loud conversations...) from 21:00 and before 09:00 in the morning.
It is very important to respect the rest of our neighbours.
 
- Organise events, parties, and bachelor parties, as well as any inappropriate behaviour.

 - Use bath towels for the beach or pool. The return of these in poor condition will incur an additional cost. 
We have a service to rent pool/beach towels. 
 
- Guests are not allowed to smoke inside the house; if they wish, they can smoke in the exterior spaces of the property.
In this case, use ashtrays and respect the garden areas, terraces, and/or balconies.
 
- Electric vehicles cannot be charged using household power
 
- Groups of students are not allowed.
- No pets allowed
 
IN CASE OF BREACH OF ANY OF THE RULES, THE HOUSE MUST BE LEFT
 We are very strict with the rules because the houses we help manage are not located in tourist areas. Properties in the urbanisations are very quiet and we want (we need) to preserve the coexistence between visitors and residents.
Please, we hope that if you wish to book DESMAIS, you will commit to maintaining a responsible and rational consumption of scarce natural resources.

   THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND ITS SURROUNDINGS   
The house is located in a residential area of single-family houses very quiet and close to the centre of the village of Cabrils and different services; supermarket, restaurants, bars and traditional shops.

Cabrils is a charming little town known for its good restaurants, its gastronomic fair and its music fair. Cabrils is located on the north coast of Barcelona in the Maresme region.

The village has quick access to the mountain for all those hikers and adventurers. Also, throughout the Maresme, we find family beaches with calm waters and golden sand...

   THE REGION   
"El Maresme" stands out for its temperate Mediterranean climate, mild temperatures throughout the year, sunnier and brighter days, colourful in its spectacular landscapes, intense blue on its coast and in its skies that combine with the bright green of its mountains. 

The location between small mountains and The Mediterranean Sea, its proximity to the city of Barcelona, ​​makes this area an ideal place to spend an unforgettable family vacation.

The towns of "El Maresme" are charming little towns, surrounded by comfortable and private urbanizations, the best golf courses, marinas, all kinds of recreational activities, horseback riding, sports centres, wide sandy beaches.

It also offers one of the best gastronomic offers in Spain, with several Michelin-starred restaurants.

As part of the Festa Major de Santa Helena in August, it is an event that allows us to taste the most representative dishes, wines and cavas in the region.

MUSICAB: The Cabrils Music Festival
It is one of the main cultural events in Cabrils. Created in 1989, it has always been closely related to classical music.
In 2015, the festival made a change of projection, evolving into a more eclectic format.
The concerts are held over several weekends in July and August.
They have also incorporated a new morning format to bring music closer to the little ones.

    Wir waren mit 8 Erwachsenen und einem 2 Jährigen Kind zu Gast bei Sónia in Cabrils. Der Kontakt im Vorhinein war äußerst freundlich und es wurde uns alles bzgl. des Check-Ins und dem Ablauf vor Ort mitgeteilt. Der Ausblick ist ein Traum und wir haben uns in der ruhigen Nachbarschaft sehr wohl gefühlt. Es sieht alles aus wie beschrieben und es gab keine negativen Überraschungen vor Ort. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Einer der schönsten Urlaube, die wir je hatten - vielen Dank!

    Family of 8 and a baby. Lots of space, many bathrooms and rooms - the best is the grand windows overlooking the valley and sea.
    The area is very hilly making a run a tough trial.
    The restaurants nearby are very, very nice. Do not expect english menus and explanations. Enjoy the quality at a fair price.

    Absolutely beautiful location! It was only two of us but I would love to come back with friends as there is plenty of room for several couples to comfortably enjoy a vacation together. Lots of locations on the property to take in the views and breezes and absolutely loved the pool (which I think is actually bigger than the listing indicates). Highly recommend!

    What a fantastic stay! The villa was absolutely beautiful with the most stunning views. The local town also has some lovely shops and restaurants (the coffees and Danish pastries are delicious).     Das Haus ist wirklich traumhaft schön, der Ausblick von der Veranda spektakulär und die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Haus ist ideal für ein Gruppe von Paaren oder eine große Familie, weil es viele Rückzugsmöglichkeiten bietet und viele gemeinsame Bereiche hat.

    Un accueil vraiment excellent , facile et efficace . La maison a été entièrement rénovée il y a peu de temps , tout est neuf et fait avec goût . La vue est à couper le souffle , le quartier est très calme , les supermarchés sont proches . Pour résumer allez y sans craintes , vous serez entièrement comblé.

    Nous avons passé une super semaine dans la maison. Elle est magnifique et très bien équipée. Nous étions un groupe de 9 personnes et la grandeur de la propriété est vraiment un atout pour un si grand groupe. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Helena et Sonia. De plus elles étaient disponibles tout au long de notre séjour pour répondre à nos questions. Nous y retournerions avec plaisir !

    A wonderfully situated, and out-standing beautiful home located in the hills above the sea nearby Barcelona. The view had us in absolute Awe, and the layout of the house was fantastic. The salt-water pool overlooks the valley and sea and is deep enough to dive in. The home is stylish with nice simple artwork and a great kitchen. Could not recommend more. J

    I cannot praise this villa enough. What a beautiful place to stay. The villa is very modern with all the up to date technologies. It has very nice aesthetics in terms of its layout. The value for money is perfect and it will not disappoint. This villa has a beautiful overview of Cabrils from its balcony and it’s proper nice to sit there and watch the sunset. I would definitely recommend this villa and also rebook this in the future!

    We booked the house with 4 friends. It was a very relaxing vacation. The house is on a hill in a village near Barcelona. It's even more beautiful as in the pictures. The hosts are very friendly and always available. But it is very important to have a car. I would recommend this house to anyone and we will definitely book it again.

    The house itself was truly amazing!
    Everyone in our family was mind blown and we had already missed it.

    The view was one of the best I've seen and the pool was big enough for all of us. The house was also very clean and well preserved.

    We want to go back there so bad!

    Desmais was an amazing place to stay at. The views from the every window were breathtaking,. We had every meal on the 1st floor terrace, enjoying the views and the company of each other. Swimming pool was a bonus, our son loved it so much. It's quite deep though, so extra care needed when with kids. As it says on the listing, there's no aircon, so it can get a little too hot inside when the temperature goes above 30C. The property was clean, communication with the hosts was very quick and easy. The only comment I would make is that the bathrooms and kitchens could do with a bit of freshing up, they were a bit dated. Overall, it was a really good stay that all members of our family really enjoyed. We recommend this property to other fellow travellers. Thank you, Sonia and Helena

    The house is perfect for a large group, we absolutely loved our stay! Cabrils is on a rather large hill so a car is needed, we wish we had got a car as taxi's are also pretty rubbish in the area! Other than that, we loved it 🙂 Thanks so much Helena & Sonia!

    Beautiful setting and view, that gives you an immediate holiday feeling. Nice pool, a bit further away from the house, which makes it safer with kids. Nevertheless a deep pool, with no possibility for the kids to stand upright. Well equipped kitchen. Bathrooms need some renovation however to match standards. Sònia & Helenas are very reactive hosts. Garden & Pool are very well maintained, house has a nice archtecture as the pictures demonstrate. Would be nice to have a bigger table at the terrace to easily accomodate bigger groups

    Nous avons séjourner 15 jours dans cette villa . Maison très agréable , la vue sur les collines est magnifique, on voit aussi la mer . Située dans un quartier résidentiel sur les hauteurs de Arenys de Munt c'est un endroit très calme . En haut de la rue se trouve un restaurant avec terrasse ( très belle vue ) dans lequel on mange bien . Il faut une voiture pour aller à la mer , faire les courses ou se promener en ville . Comme la maison est équipée d'une piscine c'est un bel endroit pour des vacances au calme !

    We where 8 adults and 3 babies staying at the house. The balcony and the terrace was perfect with shadow and a bit of wind. The view from the house was great - we realky enjoyed that. The pool area is very nice. A bit of dust due to some heavy rain before we arrived. It is very deep - nice for adults but not very easy to use with the kids. The inside of the house is fine. The kitchen is okay equipped but the fridge is very small for a house that can handle 10 people. The bedroomes varied a lot. Two very nice rooms, one ok and two small. We where 8 people and it would have been tight with 10. We can recommend staying at the house. The area is nice, close to supermarkets, the small village and perfect for a day trip to Barcelona, the beach etc.

    I live in Cabrils and rented the house for my family. We had a fantastic time there. The house is well equipped abd boasts among the best views of Cabrils. It is well located, just above the village and meters away from Axol, one of the best restaurants in Cabrils. Sonia was a very thoughtful host. Everything was thought off (even deco touches for Xmas!) and the place was very clean. We will definitely book again.

    Très belle maison avec séjour spacieux. Fonctionnelle. Les extérieurs sont splendides avec 2 belles terrasses et une vue sublimes sur Cabrils et la mer. Une piscine agréable, un hamac et un calme très appréciable. Petit point négatif, les salles de bains sont un peu vétustes mais reste parfaitement fonctionnelle

    Gute Lage, Cabrils ist klein aber hat super Restaurants. Haus nicht für 10 Personen ausgestattet - nicht mal für 7. Nur kaltes wasser in das kleine Bad. Küche nicht gut ausgestattet.

    Good location, Cabrils is small but has great restaurants. House not equipped for 10 people - not even for 7. Only cold water in the small bathroom. Kitchen not well equipped.

    Our group had such a wonderful stay here. It was in a beautiful spot with lovely views out to the sea. The large terrace & BBQ made a perfect place for relaxing during the day & evening. It's a short taxi ride into Barcelona, (around (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minutes) & around 40 minutes to the airport. Organising taxis wasn't a problem as we were given the telephone number for one which we could easily contact over (Hidden by Airbnb) . The pool was a very relaxing space situated down a small path from the house. Again, a great space with a lovely view to the sea. The house was a really great space for our group and we all enjoyed it very much. Sonia was a great host & gave us plenty of information on our arrival & was very easy to contact if we needed her.

    We were 11guys and this villa with a nice yard, an outside grill for BBQ and with a swimming pool was perfect for our group. Sonia and Quin gave a great introduction, helped with everything we needed and were quickly reachable.

    Hemos pasado una semana en familia estupenda. Una casa preciosa y con todo lo necesario para una cómoda estancia. El sitio muy tranquilo y seguro, con fácil acceso y facil de encontrar, y unas vistas impresionantes. Sonia ha sido muy amable, muy buena comunicación y pendiente de responder rapidamente.     Biggest asset of the house is the splendid location, high in the hills but with a magnificent view on the sea.
    Very quiet and relaxing area, not to many foreign tourists but close to Barcelona if you want to get some action/culture.
    The two master bedrooms have splendid views, what a luxury waking up in the morning with a view on the sea, the sun shining and a cool sea breeze coming in.
    Big private swimming pool with a wonderfull terrace.
