THE HOUSE AND THE SPACE
Two-story detached property. Spacious house with a beautiful garden and a private pool with a fence for more security for the little ones in the family. Natural grass area, which will allow the enjoyment of young and old in a quiet, intimate, and safe environment.
This charming house has a beautiful entrance hall that gives access to a living room.
The living room communicates directly with the terrace, garden, and pool.
The living room has AC.
On the same ground floor is the large kitchen, fully equipped.
The ground floor also has a guest bathroom.
The upper floor has four bedrooms.
2 double bedrooms, one with a terrace overlooking the sea and the other with a private bathroom.
There is air conditioning in the master bedroom.
2 bedrooms with two single beds.
Nearby is a second bathroom with a bathtub.
One room has AC and the rest have ceiling fans.
The climate, location, and features of this house will allow you to fully enjoy your vacation and getaway all year round. You can take the opportunity to organize a barbecue and cook delicious vegetables, fish and/or meat. An outdoor gastronomic show.
Near the pool in the garden, it also has a nice pergola with chairs and a table where you can appreciate this moment of relaxation and joy of the day.
It is perfect for families with children or with friends.

You can park for free and easily on the street.
The street is shared with residents. The direction of traffic on the streets must be respected and not parked in front of accesses to private car parks.

HOUSE RULES
- It is not available to groups under 25 years old.
- The rental contract for the property for tourist season will be accepted upon reservation and signed before the closing ceremony.
- Acceptance of the deposit. This will be done upon arrival by pre-authorization with a credit card.
- All persons making the reservation must identify themselves by showing their identity card. They will be requested before and during the welcome.
- During your stay, minors must always be supervised by an adult, they are the sole responsibility of their parents/guardians.
- It is also necessary to remove the garbage periodically to avoid odors and brutality. There are containers in the street, very close to the house.
- Between all of us we have to respect and preserve the resources we have, if you please, avoid waste and negligent use of resources.
Waste, abusive consumption, or negligent use of electricity, water, and gas is not included and can be deducted from the deposit.
IT'S NOT ALLOWED
- Host or invite more people than those registered on the reservation form.
- Perform noisy activities (music, loud conversations...) from 21:00 and before 09:00 in the morning.
It is very important to respect the rest of our neighbours.
- Organize
events, parties, and bachelor parties, as well as any inappropriate behaviour.
- Use bath towels for the beach or pool. The return of these in poor condition will incur an additional cost.
We have a service to rent pool/beach towels.
- Guests are not allowed to smoke inside the house; if they wish, they can smoke in the exterior spaces of the property.
In this case, use ashtrays and respect the garden areas, terraces, and/or balconies.
- Electric vehicles cannot be charged using the house power
- Groups of students are not allowed.
- No pets allowed

We are very strict with the rules because the houses we help manage are not located in tourist areas. Properties are in the urbanizations very quiet and we want (we need) to preserve the coexistence between visitors and residents.
Please, we hope that if you wish to reserve for a few days at SANT MATEU you will commit to maintaining a responsible and rational consumption of our scarce natural resources.

The house is located in a very quiet residential area of detached houses and close to the centre of the village of Vilassar de Dalt, there are different services; supermarkets, restaurants, bars, and traditional shops.

Vilassar de Dalt is a small charming village, located on the north coast of Barcelona in the Maresme region.

THE REGION

You can move around on foot, by taxi or taking the train, using the bus or your own vehicle or you can move in combination.
It is always more convenient to have a vehicle to be able to explore more places or go shopping at the supermarket.

There are different services and lines that connect Vilassar de Dalt with the surroundings and Barcelona
- TAXI: There are local taxi drivers.
All services must be booked in advance.
- BUS: Day and night services.
Connection with the train station, other towns in the Maresme and the city of Barcelona.
- TRAIN: The house is close to the train stations of VILASSAR DE MAR and PREMIÀ DE MAR.
The route to Plaça Catalunya lasts between 25 and 35 minutes.

It is about 30 minutes by car.
Currently, there is legislation on vehicles that can circulate within the city.

Ideal place for relaxing in between getting train to Barcelona for sight seeing. Walkable to lovely bakery, shops for essentials and some local tapas, cocktails and Threads restaurant. Clean, spacious and made good use of pool to cool off. Met by host who gave good tips for travel and local amenities. We did need host during our stay and they were available quickly. All five of us very happy.

Ich kann die Unterkunft für Gruppen von bismuth 8 Leuten sehr empfehlen! Wer einen Urlaub in der Nähe der Großstadt Barcelona machen möchte, aber dennoch etwas Ruhe benötigt, ist hier richtig aufgehoben! Gerade der Pool und die Nähe zum Meer machen die Unterkunft auch für den Sommer interessant. Ich würde nochmal wieder kommen ☺️

Mooi ruim en net huis in een rustige buurt. Binnen 30 minuten rijden sta je in hartje Barcelona. Vriendelijke gastdames. 2 persoonsbed in de kamer met balkon is 140cm breed. Vonden wij wat aan de kleine kant. Andere bedden waren prima. 2 persoonsbed in de master slaapkamer was wel groot.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, la maison est fonctionnel et reposante. Et on a beaucoup profité de la terrasse qui est très agréable ainsi que de la piscine. Très bon acceuil des hotes autant par téléphone qu'a notre arrivé. La situation géographique est parfaite pour des visites sur Barcelone avec un arrêt de bus à 10 minutes à pied.

A lovely villa with pool well catered for two families of 4. The local area is quiet, with some local shops and bars. Buses into Barcelona are easy to use. Hosts were friendly, attentive to our needs and helpful with recommendations. Air conditioning in one bedroom and fans in other rooms. We had a great time. 😀

Had a lovely week stay in the villa, very clean and tidy and the host was very responsive throughout. Shops are about a 5-10 minute walk and there’s also some restaurants 10-15 minute walk away which were lovely. Bus routes about a 8-10 minute walk that take you to Barcelona.

We had a great 2 weeks at Sant Mateu. The house worked very well for a family of 6. Sonia and Helena (our hosts) were amazing during our stay. Not intrusive but quickly answered any questions we had and offered loads of useful information about the area. Vilassar de Dalt is a very quiet neighbourhood and in August most restaurants in the town are closed, so you do have to go further to eat out. It is very quick to get on the main coast road to explore. Our children loved the pool, as it had a proper deep end. We made good use of the barbecue area and loved sitting out on the shaded terrace for our meals. Thank you for a very lovely holiday!

Super séjour, la maison est vraiment agréable et propre, idéale pour des vacances en famille, même avec enfants en bas âges. Très bien située pour nous. Le seul bémol : pas de climatisation à part dans une chambre. Au prix de la semaine nous pensions avoir la clim du coup nous avons eu très chaud.. à part ça vraiment super!

La casa en si está en una muy buena ubicación para pasar unos días de tranquilidad. Las gestoras de la propiedad son excelentísimas personas. La casa tiene un buen tamaño para dos familias con niños y el jardín con piscina es suficiente. El mobiliario de la planta baja deberían renovarlo pero eso son gustos personales. La única pega así gorda que le encuentro es que no hay aire acondicionado por todas las estancias y por lo que sé, lo están mirando de solucionar. El potencial lo tiene, le falta la inversión.

Wij hebben een geweldige tijd gehad met drie kleine kinderen in de woning. Het zwembad heeft een hek wat het veilig maakt voor de kinderen om in de tuin te spelen. De kamers zijn ruim en Schoon. Twee badkamers ook super handig. Veel groen om de Woning heen waar de kinderen konden spelen. Gelegen in een nette wijk en naar Barcelona centrum rijdt in 30 min. Zeer vriendelijke Eigenaren die met je meedenken En goed te bereiken zijn.

This was a nice villa with really great, responsive service from Helena throughout the whole of our stay. The villa and pool are large spaces, so plenty of room for everyone, in addition to a good size lawn area and a separate sun terrace. The location is good, in a nice neighbourhood and then easily connected to some choices of restaurants or a simple bus journey into Barcelona city. Our arrival was severely delayed, reaching the villa after midnight, but Helena not only came to hand us the keys at this very late hour she also did a small grocery shop for us such that we had some basic supplies on arrival.

Hi yous! We loved our stay, just few things that I think it’s important to say The house is a huge house, for 8 people, with swimming pool and bbq area. But when we arrived Sonia told us that we can not be outside in the pool area after 9pm, because of the neighbourhood. For the type of the house, it makes no sense. There is a problem in the kitchen, when we use two things in the kitchen, the light goes out.. sometimes we were using the extractor fan and the stove and the light went out.. also, there could be more fans around the house, one in each room would make our stay much more comfortable. one thing that would also be important is: Leaving some food at the house to receive the guests. We arrived at the house at 00:00 and they’re was no open market anymore, there was no delivery, as the house is far away, there was nothing open and we had to walk for more than 40 min to find something and we didn’t find it. We kept walking until a Moroccan boy took us at the bakery where his friend works, otherwise we would have gone to bed hungry. However, the house is perfect, huge and comfortable ❤️

L’hôte a été très agréable et réactif durant notre séjour. Nous avons eu un souci de frigo, elle nous la changer dans les 48h. Par contre je trouve que les photos rende la maison mieux qu’elle ne l’est. Celle ci n’est pas très lumineuse, assez “vieillot”. Mais l’accueil et le contact a été un plus. La piscine est bien sécurisée, propre et grande.
Pour parfaire le logement, des rideaux opaques et la climatisation pour toute les chambres seraient bien ainsi qu'une literie un peu plus confortable.
Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Helena puis Sonia. Elles sont très sympathiques et réactives. Elles nous ont fournis beaucoup de renseignements concernant les transports, restaurants… qui nous ont été bien utiles. Je recommande cette maison très propres et située dans un quartier très calme et proche de Barcelone.
Only negative was that the area was very noisy, we chose this villa as it was in a residential area up in the hills so was expecting to be able to relax, although there was either construction, parties or fireworks going on past midnight all but one day we were there, which we found out at the end of the trip that there was a festival/celebrations going on.
Bei Ausstattung war alles vorhanden was man braucht, nur ein paar Sachen waren schon etwas alt.
Villasar de Dalt ist schön gelegen und man erreicht Barcelona sowie den Strand ganz einfach und schnell.
Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und die Kommunikation über what’s app schnell und einfach.
Die Lage des Hauses war top. Schöne ruhige Gegend auch wenn außerhalb gelegen. Die Einrichtung war alt, aber alles schön gepflegt und sauber.
Barcelona per Bus in 30 Min. erreichbar.
Wir kommen definitiv wieder!
